[Analysis of Causes and Sources of Summer Ozone Pollution in Rizhao Based on CMAQ and HYSPLIT Models].

Huan jing ke xue= Huanjing kexue, 2023
As a typical coastal city, O3 pollution in Rizhao has become increasingly serious in recent years. In order to explore the causes and sources of O3 pollution, IPR process analysis and ISAM source tracking tools based on the CMAQ model were used, respectively, to quantify the contributions of different physicochemical processes and different source ...

Analysis of atmospheric dispersion of olive pollen in southern Spain using SILAM and HYSPLIT models

Aerobiologia, 2013
SILAM atmospheric dispersion model and the HYSPLIT trajectory model were used to detect the source areas and calculate transport dynamics for airborne olive pollen observed in the city of Cordoba, southwest of Iberian Peninsula. The ECMWF weather data with 3-h time interval and spatial resolution of 25 × 25 km2 and 75 hybrid vertical levels were used ...

Sensitivity of atmospheric dispersion simulations by HYSPLIT to the meteorological predictions from a meso-scale model

Environmental Fluid Mechanics, 2008
Mesoscale transport and dispersion of air pollutants from a few major point sources in the Mississippi Gulf coastal region is calculated using a coupled modeling system consisting of the atmospheric dynamical model WRF and the lagrangian particle model HYSPLIT.

Investigating nuclear events and vector borne disease risk through atmospheric dispersion modelling with HYSPLIT

As a part of the Agricultural Meteorology research unit at Met Éireann, atmospheric dispersion modelling (ADM) is used to investigate and provide forecast for emergency and risk awareness networks. ADM is performed computationally to create mathematical simulations of the transport and dispersion of particles in the atmosphere.
