Single‐Step Synthesis of In‐plane 1T'‐2H Heterophase MoTe2 for Low‐Resistance Contacts

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A single‐step CVD method is developed to synthesize seamless in‐plane 1T'‐2H MoTe2 heterophase junctions with precise phase control and uniform large‐area coverage. The resulting transistors, incorporating 1T' MoTe2 contacts and 2H MoTe2 channels, exhibit ultralow contact resistance, offering a scalable solution to the long‐standing challenge of ...

Circuit measures hysteresis loop areas at 30 Hz [PDF]

open access: yes, 1967
Analog circuit measures hysteresis loop areas as a function of time during fatigue testing of specimens subjected to sinusoidal tension-compression stresses at a frequency of Hz.

Steep‐Switching Memory FET for Noise‐Resistant Reservoir Computing System

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate the steep‐switching memory FET with CuInP2S6/h‐BN/α‐In2Se3 heterostructure for application in noise‐resistant reservoir computing systems. The proposed device achieves steep switching characteristics (SSPGM = 19 mV/dec and SSERS = 23 mV/dec) through stabilization between CuInP2S6 and h‐BN.

Thermodynamic Properties, Hysteresis Behavior and Stress-Strain Analysis of MgH2 Thin Films, Studied over a Wide Temperature Range

open access: yesCrystals, 2012
Using hydrogenography, we investigate the thermodynamic parameters and hysteresis behavior in Mg thin films capped by Ta/Pd, in a temperature range from 333 K to 545 K.

An Approach to Modeling and Scaling of Hysteresis in Soft Magnetic Materials. I Magnetization Curve

open access: yes, 2014
A new mathematical model of hysteresis loop has been derived. Model consists in an extansion of tanh($\cdot$) by extanding the base of exp function into an arbitrary positive number.

Perovskite–fullerene hybrid materials suppress hysteresis in planar diodes

open access: yesNature Communications, 2015
Solution-processed planar perovskite devices are highly desirable in a wide variety of optoelectronic applications; however, they are prone to hysteresis and current instabilities.

Ionic Control of Microstructure and Lubrication in Charged, Physically Cross‐Linked Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, charged, physically cross‐linked poly(methacrylamide‐co‐methacrylic acid) hydrogels stabilized by a short‐range attractive, long‐range repulsive potential is investigated. This work uncovers how salt addition alters not only swelling, but also the microstructure and dynamics, near‐surface stiffness and charge, and ultimately, its lubricity. Salts

Understanding the Limits of a Screening Operation. Part 1: Characterization of Screen Plugging

open access: yesBioResources
Pressure screening is a critical step in the production of high-quality paper. In efforts to meet sustainable market demands, mill operators are forced to push the limits of screening operation to the point where plugging becomes a recurrent issue.

Numerical Simulation and Experimental Study of a Simplified Force-Displacement Relationship in Superelastic SMA Helical Springs

open access: yesSensors, 2018
This paper proposes a new force-displacement model for superelastic shape memory alloy (SMA) springs under complex loading and unloading. For the SMA wires used to make superelastic springs, a new multilinear constitutive model based on a modification of
