On the pinched hysteresis behavior in a state-controlled resistor
AEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications, 2017Abstract We show that the pinched hysteresis behavior observed in a voltage-controlled resistor with state-feedback self-control can be attributed to the current flowing in the parasitic capacitance holding the voltage across this resistor. A mathematical model describing this circuit structure is derived and validated numerically.

Effect of Sorption Hysteresis on Mechanical Behavior of Canola
Transactions of the ASAE, 1995Creep-recovery tests were conducted on single canola kernels. The samples were conditioned by bringing them to equilibrium through the adsorption or desorption process to the same final moisture. Prior to the creep-recovery tests, kernels were subjected to cyclic loading to minimize the influence of plasticity.

Breaking Antidunes: Cyclic Behavior due to Hysteresis
Journal of Hydraulic Engineering, 2006The cyclic behavior of breaking antidunes (growth, breaking of surface wave, obliteration) is investigated by use of a numerical model. The model includes the transition between supercritical and transcritical flow. As the antidune grows the flow becomes transcritical and a hydraulic jump is formed upstream of the antidune crest.
