Hysteroscopic Metroplasty

Between February 1990 and June 1993 40 patients underwent hysteroscopic metroplasty for septate uterus. Twenty-six patients had previous miscarriages (65%) and fourteen were infertile (35%). Hysteroscopic section of uterine septa was performed by means of Hamou resectoscope with sorbitol-mannitol solution as distending medium.
