Production of Sustainable Food Ingredients From Watermelon Wastes Using Drum‐Drying

Watermelon pulp and rind were processed into sustainable food ingredients using drum drying, yielding high sugar and fiber products. This approach reduces food waste, minimizes carbon emissions, and provides versatile ingredients for bakery and snack applications with extended shelf life and cost‐effectiveness.
