Asprosin as a Potential Link Between Vascular Inflammation and Disease Activity in Behçet's Disease
Journal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis, Volume 40, Issue 12, June 2026.Serum asprosin levels are significantly elevated in patients with Behçet's disease compared to healthy controls. Asprosin concentrations increase progressively with disease activity and are strongly associated with vascular involvement and uveitis, suggesting a potential role as a biomarker of vascular inflammation and disease severity.
