Advanced Materials, Volume 36, Issue 35, August 28, 2024.Molecular n‐doping of zinc oxide (ZnO) using the thermally activated molecule 1,3‐dimethylimidazolium‐2‐carboxylate is demonstrated. The doped ZnO is explored as part of a bilayer electron‐transporting channel in transistors and as an electron‐extracting interlayer in organic photovoltaics, yielding cells with a power conversion efficiency of over 19%.
