Moisture Absorption in Highly Porous Closed‐Cell Polymeric Foams
Polymer Engineering &Science, EarlyView.The conventional one‐dimensional hindered diffusion model has been extended into a new Void Filling Hindered Diffusion Model. By quantifying the moisture stored within closed‐cell pores, this model successfully captures the distinct absorption behaviors observed across varying foam thicknesses.
