Trap‐Modified Inverted Organic Photodetectors via Layer‐by‐Layer Processing with Poly(N‐vinylcarbazole) Additives

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Trap state engineering in inverted organic photodetectors (OPDs) is achieved via combined layer‐by‐layer (LbL) processing and poly(N‐vinylcarbazole) (PVK) incorporation. LbL reduces the trap density while PVK additives gradually shift trap states from shallow band‐edge to deep mid‐gap levels, tailoring the energy distribution.

Towards a QoE-Driven Resource Control in LTE and LTE-A Networks

open access: yesJournal of Computer Networks and Communications, 2013
We propose a novel architecture for providing quality of experience (QoE) awareness to mobile operator networks. In particular, we describe a possible architecture for QoE-driven resource control for long-term evolution (LTE) and LTE-advanced networks ...

Selective Charge Injection via Topological van der Waals Contacts for Barrier‐Free p‐Type TMD Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Topological van der Waals contacts represent a new class of electrodes for 2D semiconductors, enabling precise control of the Schottky barrier height (SBH) and contact resistance (RC) through interlayer distance and orbital hybridization engineering. In Se‐based transition metal dichalcogenides, these contacts achieve an ultralow SBH of 7 meV, RC of 0.

The impact of jamming on boundaries of collectively moving weak-interacting cells

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2012
Collective cell migration is an important feature of wound healing, as well as embryonic and tumor development. The origin of collective cell migration is mainly intercellular interactions through effects such as a line tension preventing cells from ...

I+D+I: Una perspectiva documental

open access: yesAnales de Documentación, 2008
In this article we try to define the research in a broad sense and the con-cept of Research System, Development and Innovation (R+D+I), with the explana-tion of the main indicators, the classification systems, also the main characteristics, the production cycle, and the track to examine the scientific and technological documents, their main ...

Vanishing theorems for Dolbeault cohomology of log homogeneous varieties

open access: yes, 2008
We consider a complete nonsingular variety $X$ over $\bC$, having a normal crossing divisor $D$ such that the associated logarithmic tangent bundle is generated by its global sections.

High‐Resolution Characterization of Protein‐Conjugated, mRNA‐Loaded Lipid Nanoparticles by Analytical Ultracentrifugation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Lipid nanoparticles containing messenger RNA are characterized by sedimentation velocity analytical ultracentrifugation using UltraScan's new Custom Grid algorithm to provide multi‐dimensional distributions for partial specific volume (particle density), molar mass, sedimentation, diffusion, and hydrodynamic radius.

Coherent Control of Nitrogen Nuclear Spins via the VB−${\rm V}_B^-$‐Center in Hexagonal Boron Nitride

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates coherent control of 15N nuclear spins coupled to VB−${\text{V}}_{\text{B}}^{-}$ centers in isotope‐enriched hexagonal boron nitride. Selective addressing via spin‐state mixing enables Rabi driving, quantum gates, and coherence times exceeding 10 μs$\umu{\rm s}$.
