ICANN—Now and Then: ICANN’s Reform and Its Problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
This paper sheds some light upon the major problem arising from the current normative infrastructure of the DNS and provides a possible solution to the current physical problem of the DNS.

Comparative Study on the Hypoglycemic Effects of Different Parts of Musa balbisiana

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 12, Issue 12, Page 10347-10356, December 2024.
The antidiabetic ability in vitro and in vivo of the corm, pseudostem, inflorescence, fruit, peel, and seed of M. balbisiana was determined. All investigated parts have performed potential antidiabetic activity on inhibition enzymes of α‐amylase and α‐glucosidase.

Securing The Root: A Proposal For Distributing Signing Authority [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Management of the Domain Name System (DNS) root zone file is a uniquely global policy problem. For the Internet to connect everyone, the root must be coordinated and compatible.

Enhanced calendar support for temporal datacube queries

open access: yesTransactions in GIS, Volume 28, Issue 7, Page 2089-2112, November 2024.
Abstract A significant share of our data are timeseries. Time can occur as the single dimension, or further (such as spatial) dimensions can be present as well, leading to multidimensional data such as 3D x/y/t satellite image timeseries or 4D x/y/z/t atmospheric simulations like weather forecasts.

In Vivo Endothelial Cell Gene Silencing by siRNA‐LNPs Tuned with Lipoamino Bundle Chemical and Ligand Targeting

open access: yesSmall, Volume 20, Issue 42, October 17, 2024.
Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) based on novel pH‐responsive lipoamino xenopeptide carriers lead to improved siRNA delivery in vitro and in vivo. These LNPs display tropism to liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs) through chemical targeting. Optimization and ligand functionalization yield in LNPs capable of efficient gene knockdown in tumor endothelial

Hard‐state Protocol Independent Multicast—Source‐Specific Multicast (HPIM‐SSM)

open access: yesIET Networks, Volume 13, Issue 5-6, Page 486-512, September-November 2024.
The authors propose the Hard‐state Protocol Independent Multicast—Source‐Specific Multicast (HPIM‐SSM), a novel multicast routing protocol that keeps the design principles of PIM‐SSM but overcomes its limitations, such as slow convergence and the possibility of creating suboptimal trees.
