Spin-Dependent Neutralino-Nucleus Scattering for $A \sim 127$ Nuclei
We perform nuclear shell model calculations of the neutralino-nucleus cross section for several nuclei in the A = 127 region. Each of the four nuclei considered is a primary target in a direct dark matter detection experiment.

Levels in 99Zr observed in the decay of 99Y [PDF]
New investigation of the decay scheme of 99Y to 99Zr removes minor discrepancies between decay and prompt-fission data. The existence of a strongly coupled band on the 725-keV level postulated in an earlier beta-decay work is not confirmed.

Is room-temperature superconductivity with phonons possible?
By recognizing the vital importance of two-hole Cooper pairs (CPs) in addition to the usual two-electron ones in a strongly-interacting many-electron system, the concept of CPs was re-examined with striking conclusions.

Analytic descriptions for transitional nuclei near the critical point [PDF]
Exact solutions of the Bohr Hamiltonian with a five-dimensional square well potential, in isolation or coupled to a fermion by the five-dimensional spin-orbit interaction, are considered as examples of a new class of dynamical symmetry or Bose-Fermi ...

Muscle-skeletal pain in children and adolescents potential role of backpacks [PDF]
The relationship between weight of schoolbags and muscular pain is rather controversial. This review wants to carry to acquaintance of the readers the point of view of the last reviews on the argument.

Boson-fermion mapping of collective fermion-pair algebras [PDF]
We construct finite Dyson boson-fermion mappings of general collective algebras extended by single-fermion operators. A key element in the construction is the implementation of a similarity transformation which transforms boson-fermion images obtained ...

Translation Imaging in Parkinson’s Disease: Focus on Neuroinflammation
Parkinson’s disease (PD) is characterized by the loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra pars compacta (SNpc) and the appearance of α-synuclein insoluble aggregates known as Lewy bodies.

Direct Search for Dark Matter - Striking the Balance - and the Future
Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs) are among the main candidates for the relic dark matter (DM). The idea of the direct DM detection relies on elastic spin-dependent (SD) and spin-independent (SI) interaction of WIMPs with target nuclei.

In Silico Discovery of Candidate Drugs against Covid-19
Previous studies reported that Angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) is the main cell receptor of SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2. It plays a key role in the access of the virus into the cell to produce the final infection.
