Optimizing Resource Utilization in Biomass Supply Chains by Creating Integrated Biomass Logistics Centers

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
Bio-based supply chains are by nature complex to optimize. The new logistic concept of integrated biomass logistical center (IBLC) provides us the opportunity to make full use of the idle capacity for a food/feed plant to produce biobased products so ...

Low temperature sintered giant dielectric permittivity CaCu3Ti4O12 sol-gel synthesized nanoparticle capacitors [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Dielectrics, 2017
This paper reports on synthesis of polycrystalline complex perovskite CaCu3Ti4O12 (as CCTO) ceramic powders prepared by a sol–gel auto combustion method at different sintering temperatures and sintering times, respectively.

High dielectric performance and multifarious polarizations in (Lu + Ta) co-doped TiO2 ceramics

open access: yesJournal of Asian Ceramic Societies, 2021
Materials with high dielectric constant have broad application prospects in energy storage elements. In this work, (Lu0.5Ta0.5)xTi1-xO2 ceramics (x = 0, 0.01, 0.02 and 0.04) were synthesized by a standard conventional solid-state reaction.

The sleeping voices: Evaluating parenting ‘self‐help’ books, narratives of rule, routine and ritual

open access: yesChildren &Society, Volume 37, Issue 4, Page 1203-1217, July 2023., 2023
Abstract Putting children to bed is an everyday practice but is under‐studied in childhood research. Findings from this study of eight popular self‐help parenting books for 2‐to‐5‐year‐olds show that the books rarely, if ever, consider that children have voice/s, or social competence. Where the child does appear, it was to be silenced.

Microwave dielectric properties of ceramics: A clue to its intrinsic dielectric response

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Dielectrics, 2023
CaCu3Ti4[Formula: see text] (CCTO) is a potential dielectric material with giant permittivity, good stability over the wide temperature and frequency range. However, the dielectric responses of CCTO-based ceramics are mainly investigated in the frequency

Initiating and Supporting Breastfeeding: Guidelines for Interventions during the Perinatal Period from the French National College of Midwives

open access: yesJournal of Midwifery &Women's Health, Volume 67, Issue S1, Page S56-S73, November/December 2022., 2022
Abstract Exclusive breastfeeding is recommended for children for the first 4 to 6 months of life, with complementary foods added thereafter. It is the most ecological way of protecting the child's and mother's health. Training of health professionals is required to avoid transmitting inconsistent information in 3 areas: 1) implementing these 3 ...

Unveiling Alternating Current Electronic Properties at Ferroelectric Domain Walls

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 8, Issue 6, June 2022., 2022
Here, the behavior of ferroelectric domain walls under alternating voltages is discussed. Experimental techniques and seminal studies that reveal the emergence of unusual dynamical domain‐wall responses in the kilo‐ to gigahertz regime are presented. It is concluded with a discussion about future research directions and application opportunities in AC ...

Functional Properties of Donor (Al) and Acceptor (Cu) Codoped High Dielectric Constant ZnO Nanoparticles

open access: yesJournal of Nanomaterials, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
In this work, we have synthesized donor‐acceptor (Al‐Cu) codoped ZnO nanoparticles with a doping concentration of 0%, 0.25%, 0.5%, and 0.75% by coprecipitation method. The synthesized samples were then annealed at 350°C and 600°C. All the samples showed wurtzite structure of ZnO with no secondary phase.

Jumping bristletail (Insecta: Apterygota: Microcoryphia) records in the southeastern United States [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Few records of Microcoryphia exist for the southeastern United States, with named species being reported only from Arkansas, Tennessee, and the mid-Atlantic states, and with an unnamed species being reported from Georgia.
