The neurological adaptation of ICD-10 (ICD-10 NA) [PDF]

open access: yesArquivos de Neuro-Psiquiatria, 1995
The systematic categorization of disorders, provided by the World Health Organization in the “International Statistical Classification of Diseases, Injuries and Causes of Death” (ICD) is an essential tool for epidemiological and clinical research, for the indexing of national and international statistics of morbidity and mortality, to monitor health ...

Rheumatoid arthritis, frailty, and outcomes of surgical hospitalizations: A national population‐based analysis

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
OBJECTIVE Hospitalization, particularly for surgery, represents a period of heightened stress. We evaluated how frailty attenuates the association of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) with negative health outcomes after elective non‐cardiac surgery. METHODS We conducted a cross‐sectional study using the National Inpatient Sample (2018 to 2020), including ...

Multifunctional Neutrophil Nanovesicles Induce Remodeling of Tumor Immune Microenvironment and Synergistic Multimodal Tumor Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration of the engineered RN@FDT for multimodal tumor therapy. a) Fabrication of FD&DOX/TFA‐loaded RGD‐NNV (RN@FDT) and the light‐triggered disassemble of RN@FDT. b) After internalized by tumor cells, RN@FDT are disintegrated under NIR‐II laser irradiation to boost PTT and induce cell apoptosis.

Lignin Mimicking Protein Methylation Augments the Efficacy of FOLFOX Chemotherapy by Anchoring Thymidylate Synthase

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Lignin‐mimicking protein methylation can enhance the efficacy and mitigate the toxicity of the classic FOLFOX chemotherapy regimen. ABSTRACT FOLFOX has served as the standard chemotherapy regimen for advanced stages, specifically in the treatment of pancreatic, colorectal, and bladder cancers.

Multi-objective optimization under uncertainty for sheet metal forming

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2016
Aleatory uncertainties in material properties, blank thickness and friction condition are inherent and irreducible variabilities in sheet metal forming.

Epitaxially Integrated Electro‐Optic KNbO3 Thin Films on Silicon

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate the first epitaxial integration of electro‐optic KNbO3 thin films on silicon using suboxide molecular‐beam epitaxy. Combining adsorption‐controlled molecular‐beam epitaxy, advanced characterization, and phase‐field modeling, we demonstrate phase‐pure crystalline films mirroring bulk crystals with robust Pockels response, enabling future ...

Aptamer‐Engineered Liposomal Platform Enables in Situ cDC1 Vaccination to Potentiate Immunotherapy in Prostate Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Prostate cancer is immunologically ‘cold’, with scarce, dysfunctional type 1 conventional dendritic cells (cDC1s) that limit T cell priming. We introduce an aptamer‐targeted liposomedelivering FMS‐like tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt3L) and chlorin e6 (Ce6). Ultrasound induces antigen release and cDC1s recruitment, creating an in situ cDC1 vaccine.

Comparison of DSM-5 and proposed ICD-11 criteria for PTSD with DSM-IV and ICD-10: changes in PTSD prevalence in military personnel

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Psychotraumatology, 2017
Background: Recently, changes have been introduced to the diagnostic criteria for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and the International Classification of Diseases (ICD ...

ROS Self‐Supply Nanoplatform Based on Fenton Catalyst for Chemodynamic and Immunotherapy: Reprogramming Cold Tumor Into Hot Tumor in Cancer Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional HA‐conjugated nanoplatform (HA‐PGMC) integrates CuO2, glucose oxidase, and mil‐100 to enable cascade catalytic ROS generation in tumor microenvironments. This self‐supplying ROS strategy induces immunogenic cell death, reprograms “cold” tumors into “hot” ones, and synergizes with PD‐L1 blockade, achieving potent chemodynamic ...
