A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Scale-dependence of lithological control on topography: Bedrock channel geometry and catchment morphometry in western Scotland [PDF]
We propose that a scale-dependent topographic signature of erodibility arises due to fluvial and glacial erosion acting on different parts of the landscape at different times.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Numerical Simulation of Ship Resistance and Ice Load Distribution in Pack Ice
With global warming enhancing the navigability of Arctic routes, the accurate prediction of ice resistance during navigation is of great engineering significance for the design and performance evaluation of polar ships.

Numerical simulation of ice resistance of ship turning in level ice zone considering fluid effects
Objectives When polar ships sailing in polar regions, extremely complex ice resistance not only poses structural threats to ships, but also poses new challenges for ship maneuverability, especially when the ship is turning in a level ice zone.

Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

Prediction of vertical bearing capacity of waveform micropile [PDF]
This study proposes a predictive equation for bearing capacity considering the behaviour characteristics of a waveform micropile that can enhance the bearing capacity of a conventional micropile.

Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.
