Effect of dispersant on the performances of an ice slurry-wet precooling system
This study addresses the problem of prolonged precooling time and excessive weight loss of fruits and vegetables during postharvest processes. Ice slurry precooling system shows potential but faces challenges like low undercooling and ice blockage ...

Cold storage with ice slurries
The storage of 'cold' with ice slurries-a special type of thermally multi-functional fluids or phase change slurries (PCS)-is discussed. At first an example of a calculation of a thermal energy storage tank in an ice slurry system with a peak load demand is presented. Then a new concept of ice slurry storage without mixing is introduced.

Development of human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 by yeast display
Human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 are generated by yeast display‐guided selection. These antibodies bind to soluble and cell‐surface forms of TARM1. Also, these antibodies exhibit agonistic activity in the NFAT‐GFP reporter assay, indicating that TARM1 signaling can be functionally modulated by antibodies and suggesting TARM1 as a potential ...

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

A fluorine‐rich acrylate monomer (PFHEA) was solvent‐free applied to NCM90 and thermally decomposed under Ar to convert residual lithium into LiF and form a pre‐built LiF/fluorinated amorphous carbon (LiF/FC) interphase. The LiF/FC layer suppresses NiO rock‐salt reconstruction and microcrack propagation, lowers interfacial resistance, and improves Li ...
