Bathymetry and Geomorphology of Shelikof Strait and the Western Gulf of Alaska
We defined the bathymetry of Shelikof Strait and the western Gulf of Alaska (WGOA) from the edges of the land masses down to about 7000 m deep in the Aleutian Trench.

Autonomous detection of calving-related seismicity at Kronebreen, Svalbard [PDF]
We detect and cluster waveforms of seismic signals recorded close to the calving front of Kronebreen, Svalbard, to identify glacier-related seismic events and to investigate their relation to calving processes.

An HI View of Galaxy Conformity: HI-rich Environment around HI-excess Galaxies [PDF]
Using data taken as part of the Bluedisk project we study the connection between neutral hydrogen (HI) in the environment of spiral galaxies and that in the galaxies themselves. We measure the total HI mass present in the environment in a statistical way

Icebergs and Sea Ice Detected with Inverted Echo Sounders
AbstractA 1-yr experiment using a pressure-sensor-equipped inverted echo sounder (PIES) was conducted in Sermilik Fjord in southeastern Greenland (66°N, 38°E) from August 2011 to September 2012. Based on these high-latitude data, the interpretation of PIESs’ acoustic travel-time records from regions that are periodically ice covered were refined.

Structural weaknesses in ice mélange revealed by high resolution ICEYE SAR imagery
The mixture of icebergs and sea ice in tidewater glacier fjords, known as ice mélange, is postulated to impact iceberg calving directly through physical buttressing and indirectly through freshwater fluxes altering fjord circulation. In this contribution,
