Enhanced peripheral blood mononuclear cell lipid metabolism drives poor immunotherapy response via ferroptotic stress‐induced T cell exhaustion in hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
Integrated multi‐omics reveals that CD36‐mediated lipid overload in PBMCs drives T cell exhaustion via sub‐lethal ferroptotic stress and AKT suppression. This systemic metabolic signature serves as a robust predictor of immunotherapy response in HCC, suggesting that modulating lipid metabolism can rescue immune fitness.

Paternal Exposure to the Neonicotinoid Pesticide Clothianidin Alters Sperm MicroRNA Profiles in Mice and Intergenerationally Reduces Locomotor Activity in Male Offspring

open access: yesJournal of Applied Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Accumulating evidence suggests that paternal environmental factors have epigenetic effects on sperm and influence offspring. Neonicotinoid pesticides (NNs), which are widely used around the world, are known to affect offspring phenotypes through maternal exposure in mice, but the effect of the paternal exposure remains unknown.

Corticosterone and Mitochondrial Efficiency Are Associated With Changes in DNA Oxidative Damage During an Acute Stress Response in Leach's Storm‐Petrels (Hydrobates leucorhous)

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Zoology Part A: Ecological and Integrative Physiology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The ability of organisms to effectively respond to challenges is critical for survival. We investigated how an acute stressor affected corticosterone, mitochondrial function, and DNA oxidative damage in a wild population of Leach's storm‐petrels (Hydrobates leucorhous).

Beyond Genes: Metabolomic Evidence Indicates Potential Species‐Level Differentiation in European Wild Rabbits

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Zoology Part A: Ecological and Integrative Physiology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) plays a key ecological role in Mediterranean ecosystems, yet its populations are declining. Two subspecies, O. c. algirus and O. c. cuniculus, are present in the Iberian Peninsula and exhibit genetic, phenotypic, and ecological differences.

Study on galloping behavior of iced eight bundle conductor transmission lines

Journal of Sound and Vibration, 2016
Abstract Wind tunnel test was carried out to obtain the aerodynamic coefficients of an eight bundle conductor accreted with crescent-shaped ice. A user-defined cable element with torsional degree of freedom is developed in ABAQUS software to capture the torsional deformation of the iced conductors during galloping.

Wind tunnel test of the influence of an interphase spacer on the galloping control of iced eight-bundled conductors

Cold Regions Science and Technology, 2018
Abstract To study the anti-galloping effect of interphase spacers with different kinds of arrangements on an iced transmission line, wind tunnel experiments using a full aeroelastic model are carried out in this work. Using similarity theory, the similarity criteria between the aeroelastic model and the prototype have been deduced.

Galloping response of sector-shape iced eight bundle conductors

Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering, 2020
Wind tunnel test results of the aerodynamic coefficients of sector-shape iced eight bundle conductors varying with wind attack angles are presented. Then, by means of the user-defined cable elements, the aerodynamic loads are applied on the cable elements of each sub-conductor through the finite element method (FEM).

Synergistic experimental and CFD study on aerodynamic characteristics and flow field evolution mechanisms of iced eight-bundled conductors

Engineering Research Express
Abstract Ultra-high transmission is at risk in cold climates. This is because of the aerodynamic instability of iced eight-bundled conductors. This study looked into how flow instability happens with real crescent- and sector-shaped ice accretions. A combination of wind tunnel experiments and CFD simulations was used.

Study on wind tunnel test and galloping of iced quad bundle conductor

Cold Regions Science and Technology, 2019
Conductor galloping is a common phenomenon during the operation of the transmission line, which can easily result in electrical and mechanical accidents such as tower collapses and interphase flashover. And aerodynamic parameters are key factors to study
