Frequency-Selective PAPR Reduction for OFDM [PDF]
We study the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) problem in orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. In conventional clipping and filtering based PAPR reduction techniques, clipping noise is allowed to spread over the whole active ...

Recent progress in ICF target fabrication at RCLF
Target is one of the essential parts in inertial confinement fusion (ICF) experiments. To ensure the symmetry and hydrodynamic stability in the implosion, there are stringent specifications for the target.

Abstract Background and Objectives Attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is recognized as a condition that can persist into adulthood, often with psychiatric comorbidities that worsen the overall prognosis. ADHD has been associated with substance use disorders (SUDs), especially through symptoms like hyperactivity and impulsivity, while the ...

Caregivers' perspectives of support needs for adolescents with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder
Abstract Research focused on fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) is often deficit‐focused, limiting a holistic understanding of individuals' support needs. Families of adolescents with FASD also struggle to access appropriate services. Using semi‐structured interviews, the current study explored the perspectives of seven caregivers of adolescents ...

Species separation and modification of neutron diagnostics in inertial-confinement fusion
The different behaviours of deuterium (D) and tritium (T) in the hot spot of marginally-igniting cryogenic DT inertial-confinement fusion (ICF) targets are investigated with an ion Fokker-Planck model.

LCN2 mediates the suppression of C2C12 myoblast proliferation and myotube formation via erastin‐induced ferroptosis. Mechanistically, the LCN2‐ACOD1 axis regulates skeletal muscle growth via mitochondria‐associated ferroptosis, providing a theoretical basis for the prevention and therapy of muscle‐related diseases.
