Essential nutrients’ availability in pecan orchards affected by salinity in southern New Mexico and western Texas

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 9, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Pecans [Carya illinoinensis (Wangenh.) K. Koch] are widely cultivated in the semi‐arid and arid regions of New Mexico and Texas, where irrigation relies heavily on the Rio Grande River and brackish groundwater. This study evaluated the impact of these water sources on soil physicochemical properties, nutrient availability, and pecan tree ...

The characteristics of precipitate formed with Ca‐rich groundwater and liquid fertilizer and its effect on Japanese mustard spinach (Brassica rapa rapa var. perviridis)

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 9, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Liquid fertilizer is an essential material in agriculture, and its use tends to increase annually. Liquid fertilizer use also contributes to agricultural development; however, a white precipitate frequently forms with mixing the fertilizer and groundwater, and the effect of precipitate formation is unknown. Therefore, the purpose of this study

Effective Glycerol Carbonate Synthesis From Glycerol and Dimethyl Carbonate Over Rb‐Doped SrTiO3 Nanoparticles

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 6, 27 March 2026.
Alkali metal doping enhanced the catalytic performance of SrTiO3 for glycerol carbonate synthesis. Among the tested catalysts, the 10% Rb‐doped SrTiO3 exhibited the highest catalytic activity. This catalyst could be reused without substantial loss of activity and was applicable to various combinations of diols and alkyl carbonates.

Semiquantitative Analysis of Phase Evolution and Viscosity in Perlite

open access: yesInternational Journal of Ceramic Engineering &Science, Volume 8, Issue 2, March 2026.
XRD spectra of raw perlite powder (particle size <44 µm) with 10 wt.% ZnO added as an internal standard for semiquantitative analysis. ABSTRACT Perlite is a noncrystalline volcanic rock with rhyolitic composition that expands four to 20 times its original volume when heated, forming a porous structure widely used in filtration, catalysis, and ...
