Interplay Between Phase Evolution, Fe Migration, and Oxygen Redox in O3‐Type NaxFeyMn1−yO2 Cathodes
Why do Na‐ion battery cathodes, that are compositionally closely related, follow different structural paths during battery operation? This work shows how Fe content controls when iron atoms migrate from their original sites. Early migration locks the layers and blocks key phase transitions, whereas delayed migration permits fuller structural ...

Two nitrogen‐doped 2D conjugated metal‐organic frameworks (2D c‐MOFs, namely Cu‐Nx‐OHBA, x = 2 or 4) are synthesized, featuring precise nitrogen incorporation via rational ligand design. The Cu‐Nx‐OHBA 2D c‐MOFs are largely tailorable by varying skeletal nitrogen density, with respect to electrical conductivity, Li‐storage capacitance, and Li‐transport

A high‐Zn2+‐transference hydrogel electrolyte of ex‐PDADAM is developed via anion exchange at quaternary ammonium sites, achieving high Zn2+ transference number (0.86), ionic conductivity (8.10 mS cm−1), and toughness (51.25 MJ m−3). Symmetric cells are operated stably for over 2000 h, while flexible pouch cells retain 90.9% capacity after 300 cycles ...

Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

DETERMINATION OF VANADIUM IN TURKISH ASPHALTITES; pp. 331–338 [PDF]
Vanadium is found in many rocks and minerals, including asphaltite. Asphaltite is one of the naturally occurring black, solid bitumens, which are soluble at heating in carbon disulfide and fuse.

ICP-OES: An Advance Tool in Biological Research [PDF]
Spectroscopic analysis has been considered as a promising tool for the quantitative detection of elements in a biological sample. Inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) is an advanced trace element analysis technique that uses the emission spectrum of an excited atom to detect and quantify the element present in the sample.

Phase boundaries between Co2P and CoP are constructed through a controlled transformation of Co to Co2P‐CoP branched nanoparticles. The polycrystalline mixed‐phase Co2P‐CoP branches are enriched with phase boundaries that stabilize Co active sites for OER. This work highlights phase boundary engineering as a powerful approach to tailor active sites and
