Critical loads and their exceedances for ICP-Waters sites (ICP Waters report 44/1998)
The International Co-operative Programme on Assessment and Monitoring of Acidification of Rivers and Lakes (ICP Waters) is designed to assess, on a regional basis, the degree and geographical extent of acidification of surface waters. We report here an assessment of critical loads and their exceedances of sulphur and nitrogen acidity for the 92 ICP ...

Summary of The Nine Year Report from the ICP-Waters Programme (ICP Waters report 46/1998)
The International Cooperative Programme on Assessment and Monitoring of Acidification of Rivers and Lakes (ICP-Waters) is designed to assess the degree and geographical extent of acidification of surface waters. During the last ten years international emission reduction measures in Europe and North America have resulted in a decrease in atmospheric ...

Strategy for water analysis using ICP-MS
The developed strategy permits determination in three steps of sixty-seven elements using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Sodium, Mg, Si, S, Cl, K, and Ca are determined in a first step; B, Al, P, Cr, Fe, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Ag, Cd, Sb, Ba, Hg, and Pb are determined in a second step; and Li, Be, Ti, V, Co, Ga, Ge, Br, Rb, Sr,

Determination of tellurium in lake water by ICP-MS.

Fingerprinting of ground water by ICP-MS. Final report [PDF]
Geochemical investigations of groundwater sources and mixing have relied heavily on the major solutes (Na{sup +}, K{sup +}, Ca{sup 2+}, Mg{sup 2+}, Cl{sup -}, SO{sub 4}{sup 2-}, HCO{sub 3}{sup -}, CO{sub 3}{sup 2-}, {plus_minus}F{sup -}, Br{sup -} , PO{sub 4}{sup 3-}), stable isotopes of hydrogen and oxygen ({delta}D and {delta}{sup 18}O), and ...
