Capabilities of production-oriented laboratories in water analysis using ICP-ES and ICP-MS

Journal of Geochemical Exploration, 1993
Abstract This study describes and evaluates the results of a round-robin wherein 22 lake water samples were submitted to eight private sector laboratories for application of their inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry (ICP-ES) or mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) analytical packages. An objective of the project was to gain an appreciation for the

[Study on multi-element determination in drinking water by ICP-OES and ICP-MS].

Wei sheng yan jiu = Journal of hygiene research, 2003
A new method was developed for the determination of twenty-three elements in water samples by ICP-OES and ICP-MS. The detection limits, standard deviations and linear calibration ranges were measured. The sensitivity of the method was excellent and the determination was very fast for various elements including Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, B, Cr, Si, Zn, Be, Al, V ...

CE-ICP-SFMS and HPIC-ICP-SFMS for arsenic speciation in soil solution and soil water extracts

J. Anal. At. Spectrom., 2002
Arsenic speciation in soil solutions and soil water extracts was assessed using two different hyphenated techniques, i.e. ion chromatography inductively coupled plasma sector field mass spectrometry (HPIC-ICP-SFMS) and capillary electrophoresis (CE)-ICP-SFMS.

ELEMENTAL VARIATION ON BOTTLED DRINKING WATER BY ICP-OES

2023
The concentration of some inorganic metals is a restrictive factor for drinking water qual-ity. A fully quantitative method was applied to check the concentration of nineteen elements on the bottled water samples using ICP-OES in Al Qasim province of Saudi Arabia.

Performance of Platinum Type ICP Anodes in Fresh Water

CORROSION 1983, 1983
Abstract Platinum type anodes are used widely in ICP systems. In fresh waters, the rate of platinum comsumption is strongly dependent on current density. At higher current densities, platinum dissolution is rapid, especially when superimposed AC ripple is present.

Determination of iron species in natural waters by ICP-AES

1997
The determination of the oxidation states and other species containing iron is of considerable interest in both atmospheric chemistry and oceanographic research. It has recently been suggested that iron may be the limiting factor for primary bilogical productivity in the open oceans. Fe(II) is probably the preferred nutritient for phytoplankton.
