Using IDDs for Packet Filtering
Firewalls are one of the key technologies used to control the traffic going in and out of a network. A central feature of the firewall is the packet filter. In this paper, we propose a complete framework for packet classification. Through two applications we demonstrate that both performance and security can be improved.
Local stress concentration disrupts metabolic homeostasis and induces inflammation in the nucleus pulposus (NP), thereby accelerating intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD). A biomimetic HA/ChS hydrogel millimeter sphere (ChS@HM) is developed to enable synergistic stress dispersion and sustained hydration lubrication.

Compact circuits based on contact‐controlled transistors are well‐suited to unsupervised thermal management, sensitive temperature measurement, or temperature‐stable current references. Demonstrated on flexible microcrystalline silicon and supported by simulation, the approach does not require supply voltage regulation, remains manufacturable across ...

Assessment of Growth in Cardio‐Facio‐Cutaneous Syndrome
ABSTRACT Cardio‐facio‐cutaneous (CFC) syndrome is a rare, multiple congenital anomaly disorder in which individuals commonly experience faltering growth; however, systematic analysis of growth parameters in this disorder has not been performed. We recruited 69 participants with CFC through CFC International and collected data on assessing height ...

Abstract The Upper Cretaceous São José do Rio Preto Formation (Bauru Group, southeastern Brazil) has yielded a fragmentary but taxonomically diverse record of titanosaur sauropods, although elements from cervical series remain scarce. Here, we describe a nearly complete sauropod axis from the Vila Ventura Paleontological Area, representing an uncommon ...

The mechanisms and functions of TNF-α in intervertebral disc degeneration
Low back pain (LBP) is one of the most common health problems in people's lives, which brings a massive burden to clinicians, and the leading cause of LBP is intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD).

An Ultra‐Low‐Power Biopotential Acquisition Analog Front‐End Chip for Wearable Devices
A 0.8‐V, 1.2‐μW biopotential AFE combines a chopper‐stabilized CCIA with dual‐time‐scale EDO management. The slow DSL preserves > 1 GΩ input impedance, whereas an event‐triggered fast‐recovery path shortens return to the linear range after abrupt electrode‐offset disturbances. ABSTRACT A 0.8‐V, 1.2‐μW biopotential analog front‐end (AFE) IC is presented
