The use of pain scales in scientific studies on dentin hypersensitivity: A scoping study

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective This scoping review aimed to identify the pain scales used to clinically evaluate dentin hypersensitivity (DH) in existing literature and the references provided for their selection. Methods The scoping review followed the PRISMA and JBI guidelines.

Understanding exosomes in facial esthetics and skin aging

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Skin aging is a multifactorial process mediated by intrinsic (genetic and metabolic) and extrinsic (environmental) factors leading to functional and structural deterioration, including wrinkles, loss of collagen and elastin, as well as various pigmentation disorders.

Acute exercise‐induced improvements in cognition: Role of cerebral blood flow and metabolism

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract Physical activity is widely recognized for its ability to promote brain health, with acute exercise transiently enhancing cognition and long‐term training attenuating cognitive decline. However, the mechanisms underlying these benefits remain incompletely understood.

Metabolic Assessment in Human Pluripotent Stem Cell‐Derived Cerebral Organoids Using HR‐MAS NMR Spectroscopy

open access: yesNMR in Biomedicine, Volume 39, Issue 8, August 2026.
We present a direct method for evaluating metabolism in intact hPSC‐derived cerebral organoids (COs) via HR‐MAS 1H‐NMR spectroscopy. This approach suggests that COs exhibit a metabolic profile similar to in vivo human fetal brain, with high levels of lactate and hTau, low levels of NAA, and equimolar levels of Glu and Gln.
