The Ideal Model of Chromatography
1992The ideal model of chromatography assumes that the column efficiency is infinite. Although actual columns have a finite efficiency, the ideal model has several attractive features which make it important to understand. First, it takes into exact account the effects of the thermodynamics of the phase equilibria on the band profiles.
