Structure theorems for braided Hopf algebras
Abstract We develop versions of the Poincaré–Birkhoff–Witt and Cartier–Milnor–Moore theorems in the setting of braided Hopf algebras. To do so, we introduce new analogs of a Lie algebra in the setting of a braided monoidal category, using the notion of a braided operad.

Persistence of unknottedness of clean Lagrangian intersections
Abstract Let Q0$Q_0$ and Q1$Q_1$ be two Lagrangian spheres in a six‐dimensional symplectic manifold. Assume that Q0$Q_0$ and Q1$Q_1$ intersect cleanly along a circle that is unknotted in both Q0$Q_0$ and Q1$Q_1$. We prove that there is no nearby Hamiltonian isotopy of Q0$Q_0$ and Q1$Q_1$ to a pair of Lagrangian spheres meeting cleanly along a circle ...

Paraunitary matrices and group rings [PDF]
Design methods for paraunitary matrices from complete orthogonal sets of idempotents and related matrix structuresare presented. These include techniques for designing non-separable multidimensional paraunitary matrices.

About unital and non-unital duo rings [PDF]
Several results about one-sided duo rings and duo rings are generalized from the case of unital rings to the case of arbitrary associative rings in this paper.

The ability to quickly and reliably assemble DNA constructs is one of the key enabling technologies for synthetic biology. Here we define a new Biopart Assembly Standard for Idempotent Cloning (BASIC), which exploits the principle of orthogonal linker ...

Direct products of cyclic semigroups and left zero semigroups in $\beta\mathbb{N}$ [PDF]
We show that for every $n\in\mathbb{N}$, the direct product of the cyclic semigroup of order $n$ and period $1$ and the left zero semigroup $2^\mathfrak{c}$ has copies in $\beta\mathbb{N}$.

On idempotent convexities and idempotent barycenter maps
We consider an isomorphism between the idempotent convexity based on the maximum and the addition operations and the idempotent measure convexity on the maximum and the multiplication operations. We use this isomorphism to investigate topological properties of the barycenter map related to the maximum and the multiplication operations.

On linear algebraic semigroups III
Using some results on linear algebraic groups, we show that every connected linear algebraic semigroup S contains a closed, connected diagonalizable subsemigroup T with zero such that E(T) intersects each regular J-class of S.
