A master identity for Horadam numbers [PDF]
We derive an identity involving Horadam numbers. Numerous new identities as well as those found in the existing literature are subsumed in this single identity.

Non-commutative Sylvester's determinantal identity [PDF]
Sylvester's identity is a classical determinantal identity with a straightforward linear algebra proof. We present a new, combinatorial proof of the identity, prove several non-commutative versions, and find a $\beta$-extension that is both a generalization of Sylvester's identity and the $\beta$-extension of the MacMahon master theorem.

Some Variations of Two Combinatorial Identities [PDF]
Given two combinatorial identities proved earlier, a new set of variations of these combinatorial identities is listed and proved with the integral representation method. Some identities from literature are shown to be special cases of these new identities.

Analogues of cyclic insertion type identities for multiple zeta star values [PDF]
We prove an identity for multiple zeta star values, which generalises some identities due to Imatomi, Tanaka, Tasaka and Wakabayashi. This identity gives an analogue of cyclic insertion type identities, for multiple zeta star values, and connects the block decomposition with Zhao's generalised 2-1 formula.

Logic of Identity and Identity of Contradiction
Western philosophy has mainly developed in accordance with the three laws of identity, noncontradiction and excluded middle, also known as “laws of thought”. Since Zen Buddhism often violates these apparently indisputable logical principles, a superficial reading may induce the idea that Zen Buddhism is a completely irrational, illogical doctrine.

Number Identities and Integer Partitions [PDF]
Using a specific form of the triple product identity, polygonal number identities are stated. Further number identities are examined that can be considered identities related to modular sets of numbers. The identities can be used to give results on integer partitions with parts from numbers in modular arithmetic progression.

A Generalization of the Chu-Vandermonde Convolution and some Harmonic Number Identities [PDF]
A generalization of the Chu-Vandermonde convolution is presented and proved with the integral representation method. This identity can be transformed into another identity, which has as special cases two known identities. Another identity that is closely related to this identity is presented and proved.

Identities for Fibonacci and Lucas polynomials derived from a book of Gould [PDF]
This note is dedicated to Professor Gould. The aim is to show how the identities in his book "Combinatorial Identities" can be used to obtain identities for Fibonacci and Lucas polynomials. In turn these identities allow to derive a wealth of numerical identities for Fibonacci and Lucas numbers.

Identities and Identity Work in Organizations
Identities, people's subjectively construed understandings of who they were, are and desire to become, are implicated in, and thus key to understanding and explaining, almost everything that happens in and around organizations. The research contribution that this review paper makes is threefold.

An elliptic generalization of Schur's Pfaffian identity [PDF]
We present a Pfaffian identity involving elliptic functions, whose rational limit gives a generalization of Schur's Pfaffian identity for Pf ((x_j - x_i)/(x_j + x_i)). This identity is regarded as a Pfaffian counterpart of Frobenius identity, which is an elliptic generalization of Cauchy's determinant identity for det (1/ (x_i + x_j)).
