On the Incompleteness of Ibragimov's Conservation Law Theorem and Its Equivalence to a Standard Formula Using Symmetries and Adjoint-Symmetries [PDF]
A conservation law theorem stated by N. Ibragimov along with its subsequent extensions are shown to be a special case of a standard formula that uses a pair consisting of a symmetry and an adjoint-symmetry to produce a conservation law through a well ...

The unrolling of the peltate leaves in Syngonium podophyllum is analyzed and quantified (left‐hand side to center). These measurements serve to verify a mathematical model for leaf unrolling based on the model used in Schmidt (2007). An additional formula for obtaining a layer mismatch from a prescribed radius is derived.

Soft theorems in de Sitter spacetime
In this paper, we derive a soft photon theorem and a soft gluon theorem in the de Sitter spacetime from the Ward identity of the near cosmological horizon large gauge transformation.

A charged particle in a magnetic field - Jarzynski Equality
We describe some solvable models which illustrate the Jarzynski theorem and related fluctuation theorems. We consider a charged particle in the presence of magnetic field in a two dimensional harmonic well.

A tropical motivic Fubini theorem with applications to Donaldson–Thomas theory [PDF]
We present a new tool for the calculation of Denef and Loeser's motivic nearby fiber and motivic Milnor fiber: a motivic Fubini theorem for the tropicalization map, based on Hrushovski and Kazhdan's theory of motivic volumes of semi-algebraic sets.

A lack of standard approaches for testing and reporting the performance of metal halide perovskites and organic semiconductor radiation detectors has resulted in inconsistent interpretation of performance parameters, impeding progress in the field. This Perspective recommends key metrics and experimental details, which are suggested for reporting in ...

Quantum Emitters in Hexagonal Boron Nitride: Principles, Engineering and Applications
Quantum emitters in hexagonal boron nitride have emerged as a promising candidate for quantum information science. This review examines the fundamentals of these quantum emitters, including their level structures, defect engineering, and their possible chemical structures.

H1(R) is a Banach algebra which has better mapping properties under singular integrals than L1(R) . We show that its approximate identity sequences are unbounded by constructing one unbounded approximate identity sequence {vn}.

It is shown that if $X$ is a unitary operator so that a singular subspace of $U$ is unitarily equivalent to a singular subspace of $UX$ (or $XU$), for each unitary operator $U$, then $X$ is the identity operator.

Low‐Symmetry Weyl Semimetals: A Path to Ideal Topological States
This study presents a theoretical framework for realizing ideal Weyl semimetals, where Weyl nodes are well‐isolated at the Fermi level. The approach is exemplified in the low‐symmetry material Cu2SnSe3, which exhibits tunable topological phases, current‐induced orbital magnetization, and a strong circular photogalvanic effect, making it a promising ...
