A generalized nonlinear Picone identity for the p-biharmonic operator and its applications

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2019
A generalized nonlinear Picone identity for the p-biharmonic operator is established in this paper. As applications, a Sturmian comparison principle to the p-biharmonic equation with singular term, a Liouville’s theorem to the p-biharmonic system, and a ...

Wavelength‐Dependent Differential Amplification of Raman Scattering by Chiral Gold Nanorods for Multiplexed Encoding

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The SERS spectra of reporter molecules adsorbed on chiral gold nanorods depends on the handedness of circularly polarized light (CPL‐SERS). The bisignate plasmonic CD spectra of chiral nanorods provides wavelength‐dependent CPL‐SERS. Selective discrimination of chiral nanorod handedness and different Raman reporters allow highly sensitive codification ...

Notes on the Hypercyclic Operator

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Extension, 2008
In this paper by using a nice criterion, we show that the perturbation of identity operators by some multiples of the standard backward shift is hypercyclic. This gives a new proof for Salas Theorem in ( [10 ], Theorem 3.3).

Structure of Finite-Dimensional Protori

open access: yesAxioms, 2019
A Structure Theorem for Protori is derived for the category of finite-dimensional protori (compact connected abelian groups), which details the interplay between the properties of density, discreteness, torsion, and divisibility within a finite ...

Towards High‐Acuity Vision Restoration: Hybrid Retinal Prosthesis Composed of a High‐Density Multielectrode Array Integrated With Glutamatergic Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a novel Hybrid Retinal Implant (HRI), composed of a high‐density electrode array integrated with glutamatergic neurons to overcome key limitations of current retinal prostheses. The significant reduction of activation threshold and of electrode cross‐talk yields in an improved spatial resolution.

Jacobi's identity and the König-Egerváry theorem

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 1984
The König-Egerváry Theorem states that the maximum size of a partial matching in a relation is equal to the minimum size of a separating set of lines (a set of rows or columns such that every nonzero entry of the associated adjacency matrix is contained in a row or column of the set).

Design and Applications of Multi‐Frequency Programmable Metamaterials for Adaptive Stealth

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This article provides a comprehensive overview of metamaterials, including their fundamental principles, properties, synthesis techniques, and applications in stealth, as well as their challenges and future prospects. It covers topics that are more advanced than those typically discussed in existing review articles, while still being closely connected ...

Identity in modal logic theorem proving [PDF]

open access: yesStudia Logica, 1993
In this paper the `relational' translation from quantified modal logics with identity into first-order predicate logic is repeated. In this well- known method, the Kripke semantics of the modal \(\square\)-operator: \(\square p\) is true in a world if \(p\) is true in all accessible worlds, is turned into a translation rule: \(\text{tr}(\square p,w)\to

A Patient‐Specific 3D Printed Carotid Artery Model Integrating Vascular Structure, Flow, and Endothelium Responses

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces the first miniaturized, patient‐specific carotid artery model created via 3D printing using GelMA with embedded vascular cells. Combining CFD, PIV, and flow perfusion, the model replicates anatomically dependent hemodynamics and cellular responses.
