Modeling and Performance Analysis of the IEEE 802.11P MAC for VANETs
Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) have recently attracted interest for automation and intelligent transportation system (ITS). In this paper, to assess the performance of the IEEE 802.11p medium access control (MAC) for VANETs, an analytical model based on Markov chain model is presented.

This paper proposes a new framework for the analysis of cyber‐physical system security against denial‐of‐service (DoS) attacks using generalised stochastic Petri nets. The model incorporates immediate and timed transitions, thus mapping both continuous operations of cyber‐physical system and discrete‐event natures of cyber threats.

Improved Vehicle Ranging Method for the IEEE 802.11p
Abstract In view of drawbacks in GNSS-dark areas such as forests, tunnel, etc., which cause position results inaccuracy, high-mobility positioning methods using IEEE 802.11p standard in vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) should be developed. Accuracy time of arrival (TOA) estimation based ranging model has attracted wide attention as one of the ...

This paper addresses the limitations of existing conditional privacy‐preserving authentication (CPPA) schemes in vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs), which are either computationally heavy or vulnerable to quantum attacks. It proposes a multi‐aggregator lattice‐based CPPA (MA‐LCPPA) framework that distributes verification across multiple roadside units ...
