Analysis of coexistence between IEEE 802.15.4, BLE and IEEE 802.11 in the 2.4 GHz ISM band
IECON 2016 - 42nd Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2016The rapid growth of the Internet-of-Things (IoT) has led to a proliferation of low-power wireless technologies. A major challenge in designing an IoT network is to achieve coexistence between different wireless technologies sharing the unlicensed 2.4 GHz ISM spectrum.

In this paper, a novel antenna design with a coupling feeding mechanism for WSN applications at IEEE 802.15 2.4 GHz operation has presented and implemented. By adjusting coupling element, impedance matching for RF input 50 ohm can be obtained. By tuning the length of the resonant strip, resonant frequency at 2.4 GHz can be easily controlled.

Cluster scheduling is a crucial issue in cluster-tree Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). The paper presents a methodology that provides a Time Division Cluster Scheduling (TDCS) mechanism based on the shortest path problem. The objective is to meet all the flows' deadlines defined by the maximum number of crossed periods for each flow to reach its ...
