Mycoplasma iguanae sp. nov., from a green iguana (Iguana iguana) with vertebral disease [PDF]
Strain 2327T, first cultured from vertebral abscesses of green iguanas (Iguana iguana) collected in Florida, USA, was readily distinguished from all previously described mollicutes by 16S rRNA gene sequence comparisons.
