Wild Encounters: Analyzing Human-Animal Interactions in British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums Facilities. [PDF]
We investigated the quantity and diversity of animal–visitor interactions in BIAZA‐accredited facilities, finding 740 opportunities for interactions across a range of contexts including walkthroughs and handling. Meet and greets were the most offered and were influenced by the number of individual animals, cost of interaction, and animal popularity ...

Home-range size and overlap within an introduced population of the Cuban Knight Anole, Anolis equestris (Squamata: Iguanidae) [PDF]
Many studies have investigated the spatial relationships of terrestrial lizards, but arboreal species remain poorly studiedbecause they are difficult to observe.

Clade‐wide morphological and functional variation of the sauropsid columella
Abstract The columella (=stapes) is the middle ear bone of reptiles that transmits vibrations from the environment to the inner ear. It has been shown to exhibit extensive interspecific morphological disparity in several clades; however, its morphological variation and associated functional consequences remain poorly described.

The malarial parasites of Anolis species (Sauria: Iguanidae) in Panama
Abstract Lizards of the iguanid genus Anolis in Panama are parasitized by four species of Plasmodium. P.floridense occurs in A. limifrons, A. biporcatus, A. pentaprion and A. frenatus. The number of nuclei in mature schizonts is influenced by host species as is gametocyte shape but not gametocyte size. P. tropiduri parasitizes A.

Drivers of tail evolution in squamates and their implications for the fossorial origin of snakes
Abstract The axial skeleton serves as the primary structural support in all vertebrates and is subdivided into five distinct regions: cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacral, and caudal. Relaxation of constraints acting on the terminal end of the axial skeleton has led to remarkable variation in caudal vertebrae number across Squamata.
