Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH)
2021IIH causes a number of symptoms that may be variable from patient to patient. In this chapter we discuss how doctors diagnose IIH and discuss in detail each of the different symptoms that patients often report. This chapter then discusses the way individual patients may differ in the way they experience IIH symptoms.

Seminars in Ophthalmology, 2003Idiopathic intracranial hypertension is a disease with a predilection for young obese women. The most common symptoms are headache, transient visual obscuration and pulsatile tinnitus. The only focal neurologic finding is false-localizing 6th cranial nerve palsy.
