Utilisation of IIR Tube Reclaim for Developing NR/IIR Blends

International Journal of Polymeric Materials, 1993
Abstract Butyl (IIR) tube reclaim (RR) was mixed with carbon black filled natural rubber (NR) compounds at various percentages. The blend containing a low percentage of RR was found to show improved ageing resistance and improved processability with out much reduction in the mechanical properties.

Vectorizing IIR filters

International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2002
In the clustered look-ahead technique for pipelining a recursion, an Nth-order infinite impulse response (IIR) filter is transformed into an (N+M-1)th-order filter which can be implemented as a vector recursion, with M output values determined simultaneously.

Adaptive IIR filtering

IEEE ASSP Magazine, 1989
An overview is presented of several methods, filter structures, and recursive algorithms used in adaptive infinite-impulse response (IIR) filtering. Both the equation-error and output-error formulations are described, although the focus is on the adaptive algorithms and properties of the output-error configuration.

IIR and FIR fuzzy filters

Proceedings of 36th Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2002
In this paper a methodology for the design of FIR and IIR fuzzy filters is presented. The choice to implement fuzzy filters rises from the obvious advantages in terms of low computational costs and easy implementation. The validation of the proposed methodology has been performed through the analysis of several examples of fuzzy filters.

IIR-Based Pure Linear Prediction

IEEE Transactions on Speech and Audio Processing, 2004
This paper considers general, pure linear prediction schemes, where the prediction of the input signal is based on IIR-filtered versions of the one-sample-delayed input signal. Properties of these schemes are discussed, in particular, the whitening property and the realization and stability of the synthesis filter.

Adaptive IIR filter initialization via hybrid FIR/IIR adaptive filter combination

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2001
A novel hybrid adaptive FIR/IIR filter configuration is presented. The aim is to reduce the main obstacles limiting the use of adaptive IIR filters: namely convergence and stability. The hybrid scheme attempts to exploit the good qualities of both system adaptive FIR filters (good convergence and stability) and those for adaptive IIR filters (sharp ...

Design of IIR multi-band filters using IIR all-pass eigenfilters

[1992] Proceedings of the 35th Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2003
An efficient method is proposed to design infinite impulse response (IIR) all-pass filters for synthesizing general multiband filters of low sensitivity. The method is based on minimizing a quadratic measure of the error derived from the phase design of a certain filter.

IIR Filter Design

2015
Digital IIR filters have an infinitely long impulse response and therefore can be associated with analog filters that have the same characteristics. For this reason, the classical method for digital IIR filter design is based on the design of an analog filter, which is later transformed into an equivalent digital filter through a mapping in the complex
