Atresia of ileocecal junction, ileocecal valve: Rare variants of bowel atresia
Journal of Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons, 2009 Atresia of ileocecal junction and isolated atresia of ileocecal valve are rare types of intestinal atresia with very few reports in literature. We report two such cases. Radiology showed dilated ileal segment and distal micro colon in both the cases.

Cancer, 1972 Ten cases of lipomatosis of the ileocecal valve are reported. The age of the patients (7 females and 3 males) varied between 37 and 70 years. The chief complaint was abdominal pains, most often in the right lower quadrant. Other symptoms were obstipation, blood in the stools, flatulence, abdominal tenderness, and diarrhea.
