Logistics and technique for combined hepatic-intestinal retrieval [PDF]
During a 13-month period, en bloc liver-small bowel cadaveric grafts were procured for seven children and one adult. All liver grafts functioned immediately, and all but one of the recipient patients recovered.

Isolated ileocecal valve atresia
Ileocecal valve atresia is a rare variety of gastrointestinal atresia. There have been only 10 cases reported in the literature. In this paper, we report the case of a 4-day-old male preterm, who presented with signs of neonatal intestinal obstruction. Contrast enema showed microcolon with no reflux of the contrast into the terminal ileum.

Successful Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection for Giant Inflammatory Fibroid Polyp in Terminal Ileum
ABSTRACT A 55‐year‐old woman presented with postprandial abdominal pain and diarrhea. Contrast‐enhanced abdominal computed tomography revealed a large tumor in the ileocecal region. Colonoscopy demonstrated a pedunculated polyp originating from the terminal ileum, intermittently prolapsing into the cecum with a stalk‐like base.
