Clinical Effectiveness of Rikkunshito in Neonates With Radiologically Confirmed Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease and Gastric Volvulus

open access: yesTraditional &Kampo Medicine, Volume 13, Issue 1, April 2026.
This retrospective study demonstrates the therapeutic efficacy of Rikkunshito in neonates with radiologically confirmed gastric volvulus or gastroesophageal reflux disease. Rikkunshito treatment significantly improved weight gain and vomiting frequency without serious adverse events, suggesting it is a safe and effective pharmacologic option.
