Idiopathic Rupture of the Iliac Vein
Archives of Surgery, 1977Idiopathic rupture of large veins is very rare. There has been one report in the Portugese literature of such an instance involving the iliac vein. Our patient was an elderly woman in whom evidence of intra-abdominal hemorrhage developed. There was no clinical evidence of trauma.

Iliac Vein Stent Placement and the Iliocaval Confluence.
Annals of Vascular Surgery, 2020OBJECTIVE Prior literature has recommended routine iliac vein stent extension into the inferior vena cava (IVC) to assure adequate outflow for iliac vein stenting procedures.

Iliac vein bypass with autogenous saphenous vein for iliac vein compression syndrome.
The American surgeon, 1988A case of chronic obstruction of the left iliac vein is presented. The patient had failed conservative management. Surgical reconstruction was performed using autogenous saphenous vein. The patient has done well; results of a venogram at six months postoperatively indicate the graft is still patent.

Efficacy of balloon venoplasty alone in the correction of nonthrombotic iliac vein lesions.
Journal of Vascular Surgery: Venous and Lymphatic Disorders, 2019OBJECTIVE Iliac vein stenting of nonthrombotic iliac vein lesions is an evolving treatment course for management of chronic venous insufficiency. To characterize these lesions, we examined our experience treating these lesions with balloon venoplasty ...

Endovascular Repair of Iliac Vein Laceration Associated with Complex Pelvic Fracture.
Annals of Vascular Surgery, 2019BACKGROUND Iliac vein injury associated with pelvic fracture due to blunt trauma is an uncommon and difficult diagnosis but a life-threatening condition which often requires an emergent management.
