An inverse problem in a parabolic equation

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 1998
In this paper, an inverse problem in a parabolic equation is studied. An unknown function in the equation is related to two integral equations in terms of heat kernel. One of the integral equations is well-posed while another is ill-posed.

Conformal Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces: A Cylindrical Geometry Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Cylindrical reconfigurable intelligent surfaces are explored for low‐complexity beam steering using one‐bit meta‐atoms. A multi‐level modeling approach, including optimization‐based synthesis, demonstrates that even minimal hardware can support directive scattering.

Updatable Closed‐Form Evaluation of Arbitrarily Complex Multiport Network Connections

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The inverse design of electrically large wave devices often uses reduced‐order multiport models with discrete optimization, requiring many evaluations of complex interconnections between subsystems that differ only in a few blocks. This paper introduces a closed‐form framework enabling efficient Woodbury low‐rank updates of related, previous ...

Regularization and error estimates for nonhomogeneous backward heat problems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2006
In this article, we study the inverse time problem for the non-homogeneous heat equation which is a severely ill-posed problem. We regularize this problem using the quasi-reversibility method and then obtain error estimates on the approximate ...

Calculation Method for the Relaxation Time Spectra of Viscoelastic Fluids Using Dynamic Moduli

open access: yesJournal of Applied Science and Engineering
The influence of different error functions (standard deviation, normalized standard deviation, and chi-square) as objective functions in the calculation of the relaxation time spectrum is studied, as well as the influence of different minimization ...

Terahertz Channel Modeling, Estimation and Localization in RIS‐Assisted Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces have become a recent intensive research focus. Based on practical applications, channel strategies for RIS‐assisted terahertz wireless communication systems are categorized into three different types: channel modeling, channel estimation, and channel localization.

Environmental Effects on RRAM Cells Based on 2D Halide Perovskite Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
RRAM offers high speed, scalability, and low power, positioning it as a next‐generation non‐volatile memory. Two‐dimensional halide perovskites show promise due to tunable optoelectronic properties and flexible processing but suffer from environmental sensitivity. This review examines degradation from humidity, temperature, light, and strain, discusses

Improved Hole Transport Layer Surface by Carbazole Ammonium Treatment for 988 nm Near‐Infrared Tin‐Lead Perovskite LEDs

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Carbazole ammonium molecule treatment on PEDOT:PSS hole transport layer endows improved tin‐lead perovskite crystallization and interface transport for near‐infrared LED devices. ABSTRACT Incorporating tin (Sn) and lead (Pb) into metal halide perovskites is an effective strategy for reducing bandgap energy, enabling applications in the near‐infrared ...
