THE ILLOCUTIONARY ACT AND THE POWER OF THE MESSAGE
Social Sciences and Education Research Review, 2020 This study is circumscibed to the pragmatics of communication. The thesis under investigation is whether the message is a practice of power. It is found that between the communicators there is an inevitable and always denied war for control of communication. The fight to impose meanings is fought on all available channels.
