Illumination robust optical flow estimation by illumination-chromaticity decoupling [PDF]
In this paper, a novel optical flow algorithm which is robust to illumination variation is proposed. HSL color space is adopted to decouple illumination and chromaticity information. The chromaticity component is normalized by chroma and transformed to the cartesian coordinate.

DRANet: Deep Learning-Based Automatic White Balancing Approach to CVCC
As a core component of the image processing pipeline, an image signal processor plays a critical role in automatic white balancing (AWB) for computer vision color constancy (CVCC). With the recent advent of deep convolutional neural network (DCNN), image

Learning Illuminant Estimation from Object Recognition [PDF]
In this paper we present a deep learning method to estimate the illuminant of an image. Our model is not trained with illuminant annotations, but with the objective of improving performance on an auxiliary task such as object recognition.

Illuminant estimation as cue combination
This work briefly describes a model for illuminant estimation based on combination of candidate illuminant cues. Many of the research issues concerning cue combination in depth and shape perception translate well to the study of surface color perception.

Joint estimation of spectral illuminant and reflectance from an RGB image
This paper addresses the challenge of accurately estimating both the full illuminant spectral power distribution (SPD) and the per-pixel spectral reflectance from an RGB image captured with a known camera.

Illumination Estimation and Segmentation in Multi Illuminant Scenes

Extended Corrected-Moments Illumination Estimation
A remarkably simple color constancy method was recently developed, based in essence on the Gray-Edge method, i.e., the assumption that the mean of color-gradients in a scene (or colors themselves, in a Gray-World setting) are close to being achromatic.
