Illustrating the 1935 and 1937 Cuala Press Broadsides

The focus of this chapter is Yeats’s revival of the Cuala Press Broadside series in the 1930s. It outlines the extent to which this project involved the poet in a family collaboration. It places special emphasis on the impact of the resulting publications’ visual and material design. Investigated too is the choice of visual contributors for the series.
