Adversarial Image Alignment and Interpolation
Volumetric (3d) images are acquired for many scientific and biomedical purposes using imaging methods such as serial section microscopy, CT scans, and MRI. A frequent step in the analysis and reconstruction of such data is the alignment and registration of images that were acquired in succession along a spatial or temporal dimension.

Alignment and mosaicing of non-overlapping images [PDF]
Image alignment and mosaicing are usually performed on a set of overlapping images, using features in the area of overlap for alignment and for seamless stitching. Without image overlap current methods are helpless, and this is the case we address in this paper.

Geometry-Based Global Alignment for GSMS Remote Sensing Images
Alignment of latitude and longitude for all pixels is important for geo-stationary meteorological satellite (GSMS) images. To align landmarks and non-landmarks in the GSMS images, we propose a geometry-based global alignment method.
