Photography image enhancement by image fusion

open access: yesAnnales UMCS, Informatica, 2008
This paper presents an overview of two-dimensional image fusion methods using convolution filters and discrete wavelet transform developed by the authors. Image fusion is a process of combining two or more images of the same object into one extended composite image. It can extract features from source images and provide more information than one image.

A Novel Dual-Branch Global and Local Feature Extraction Network for SAR and Optical Image Registration

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
The registration of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and optical images is significant in obtaining their complementary information, which is a key prerequisite for image fusion. However, the inherent differences between the two modalities pose a challenge

A Method for Remote Sensing Image Fusion Based on Combined Fusion Strategy [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2016
As the spectral distortion is prone to exist in the vegetation area during the process of image fusion,a new method is proposed for image fusion of resource satellite-3 remote sensing by analyzing different characteristics of several common fusion ...

Genomic Diversity and Clinical Variability in Pediatric Primary Cutaneous Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma: A Case Series

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma (pcALCL) is a rare pediatric CD30‐positive T‐cell lymphoproliferative disorder with an excellent prognosis, but its genomic drivers are poorly defined. We report three children with skin‐limited disease demonstrating striking molecular heterogeneity, including NPM::ALK, NUP214::FRK, and a novel ...

Temporal Image Fusion

open access: yesCoRR, 2014
This paper introduces temporal image fusion. The proposed technique builds upon previous research in exposure fusion and expands it to deal with the limited Temporal Dynamic Range of existing sensors and camera technologies. In particular, temporal image fusion enables the rendering of long-exposure effects on full frame-rate video, as well as the ...

Guidelines for Pediatric Radiotherapy Simulation: A Report From the Children's Oncology Group Radiation Oncology Discipline

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric radiation therapy presents unique challenges compared to adult treatments, including those of immobilization, potential need for sedation, and the critical importance of accurate, reproducible positioning. Additionally, heightened attention to imaging doses is necessary to minimize long‐term toxicity in survivors.
