A HIGH-EFFICIENCY FUSION METHOD OF MULTI-SPECTRAL IMAGE AND PANCHROMATIC IMAGE [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2013
With the development of modern remote sensing technology, a variety of earth observation satellites could continue to tremendously provide image data of different spatial resolution, time resolution, spectral resolution remote sensing, and the remote ...

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Region-Based Image-Fusion Framework for Compressive Imaging

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
A novel region-based image-fusion framework for compressive imaging (CI) and its implementation scheme are proposed. Unlike previous works on conventional image fusion, we consider both compression capability on sensor side and intelligent understanding ...

Optimal Image Fusion

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Applications, 2016
In this paper a saras-type image-fusion technique using hybrid SPIHT and SOMA. This method shows fusion of images and can be used for fusion of multi model image. It is concluded that fusion with advanced single levels offers better fusion quality. This method provides a comparative study between proposed & literature techniques and validation of the ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Generation of a High‐Precision Whole Liver Panorama and Cross‐Scale 3D Pathological Analysis for Hepatic Fibrosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science
The liver harbors complex cross‐scale structures, and the fibrosis‐related alterations to these structures have a severe impact on the diverse function of the liver. However, the hepatic anatomic structures and their pathological alterations in the whole‐

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...
