KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Texture-based Image Retrieval Using Multiscale Sub-image Matching
The paper presents research on a robust technique for texture-based image retrieval in multimedia museum collections. The aim is to be able to use a query image patch containing a single texture to retrieve images containing some area with similar ...

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

SGCM: Semantic and Geometric Consistency for Robust Aerial Image Matching
Aerial image matching remains an ongoing challenge due to the significant geometric distortions and nonlinear radiation distortion. Most current approaches primarily focus on low-level image features, while overlooking the potential of high-level ...

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Evaluation of Stereo Matching Costs on Images with Radiometric Differences
Stereo correspondence methods rely on matching costs forcomputing the similarity of image locations. We evaluate the insensitivity of different costs for passive binocular stereo methods with respect to radiometric variations of the input images.

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Fast Affine Invariant Image Matching
International audienceMethods performing Image Matching by Affine Simulation (IMAS) attain affine invariance by applying a finite set of affine transforms to the images before comparing them with a Scale Invariant Image Matching (SIIM) method like SIFT ...

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

A Fast Hausdorff Matching Algorithm between Infrared and Optical Image using PBIL Strategies
Aiming at the problem of low precision of traditional gray correlation matching and bad real-time feature of partial Hausdorff distance matching, a new image matching algorithm between Infrared and Optical Image based on Hausdorff distance and Population-
