Matching images with different resolutions [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition. CVPR 2000 (Cat. No.PR00662), 2002
In this paper we address the problem of matching two images with two different resolutions: a high-resolution image and a low-resolution one. On the premise that changes in resolution act as a smoothing equivalent to changes in scale, a scale-space representation of the high-resolution image is produced.

Joint Image Deblurring and Matching with Blurred Invariant-Based Sparse Representation Prior

open access: yesComplexity, 2019
Image matching is important for vision-based navigation. However, most image matching approaches do not consider the degradation of the real world, such as image blur; thus, the performance of image matching often decreases greatly. Recent methods try to

Binary Adaptive Semi-Global Matching Based on Image Edges [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Image-based modeling and rendering is currently one of the most challenging topics in Computer Vision and Photogrammetry. The key issue here is building a set of dense correspondence points between two images, namely dense matching or stereo matching ...

SEMI-GLOBAL MATCHING IN OBJECT SPACE [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2015
Semi-Global Matching (SGM) is a widespread algorithm for image matching which is used for very different applications, ranging from real-time applications (e.g. for generating 3D data for driver assistance systems) to aerial image matching.

Image matching via progressive priors

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2022
It is a fundamental and challenging issue how to improve the accuracy of image matching in computer vision. To address this issue, an image matching method is proposed, which is via progressive priors of a putative dataset.

Learning Two-Branch Neural Networks for Image-Text Matching Tasks

open access: yes, 2018
Image-language matching tasks have recently attracted a lot of attention in the computer vision field. These tasks include image-sentence matching, i.e., given an image query, retrieving relevant sentences and vice versa, and region-phrase matching or ...

Changes in Body Composition in Children and Young People Undergoing Treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Ongoing evidence indicates increased risk of sarcopenic obesity among children and young people (CYP) with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), often beginning early in treatment, persisting into survivorship. This review evaluates current literature on body composition in CYP with ALL during and after treatment.

RESEARCH OF IMAGE MATCHING ALGORITHM BASED ON ROTATION VECTOR FIELD [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2012
A rotation invariant image matching algorithm is introduced in this paper. The feature descriptor of feature points is calculated in polar coordinate system which achieves rotation invariant.
