Randomized Sparse Block Kaczmarz as Randomized Dual Block-Coordinate Descent
Analele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2015 We show that the Sparse Kaczmarz method is a particular instance of the coordinate gradient method applied to an unconstrained dual problem corresponding to a regularized ℓ1-minimization problem subject to linear constraints.

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.The chemical composition and band alignment are systematically investigated at the TiO2/InP heterointerface. Thin TiO2 films are deposited by ALD on atomically ordered, P‐terminated p‐InP(100). By combining UPS, XPS, and ab initio molecular dynamics, the atomistic structure and electronic alignment are revealed.

Rapid Diagnostics of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces Using Space‐Time‐Coding Modulation
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.A fast reconfigurable‐intelligent‐surface (RIS) diagnostics method is proposed based on spatio‐temporal modulation with orthogonal codes. Theoretical analysis demonstrates a clear distinction in code channel power between normal and faulty elements. Simulations validate its feasibility under high fault ratios and varying receiving angles.
