Kinetic Regimes of Hydrogen Absorption in Thin Films
Knowledge of the hydrogen incorporation mechanisms in thin layers in relation to the amount absorbed is essential to design coatings and devices compatible with hydrogen‐based technologies. A combination of simultaneous in situ methods gives detailed insight into the hydrogenation of a prototypical hydrogen absorber layer in a time‐dependent manner ...

The Greenland Ice Mapping Project (GIMP) land classification and surface elevation data sets [PDF]
As part of the Greenland Ice Mapping Project (GIMP) we have produced three geospatial data sets for the entire ice sheet and periphery. These are (1) a complete, 15 m resolution image mosaic, (2) ice-covered and ice-free terrain classification masks ...

We developed a fully human 3D tonsil cell culture system incorporating supportive stromal cells that better sustains and activates immune cells than conventional methods. The model generates stronger, more targeted antibody responses to viral antigens and vaccines, providing a physiologically relevant and entirely human platform for studying immune ...

Template Based Image Mosaics [PDF]
We propose an image mosaic method based on tile template. Compared with a conventional mosaic which is comprised of the circle or the square tiles, our approach uses the arbitrary shaped tiles. But an arbitrary shaped tile leaves the excessive gap between tiles in the mosaic construction.

Cerebral organoids are transforming brain research, yet the field remains fragmented. This comprehensive systematic review maps 738 studies published between 2014 and 2024 to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities across neuroscience. Introducing OrganoidMap—an interactive, open‐access platform to explore and compare models—this work enables ...

Potato virus X is a filamentous RNA plant virus that can be engineered into a molecular tool for cancer therapy. We produced genetically‐encoded virus‐derived nanoparticles decorated with nanobodies targeting cancer cell receptors, epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2).

A Robust Method for Detecting Parking Areas in Both Indoor and Outdoor Environments
Although an automatic parking system has been installed in many vehicles recently, it is still hard for the system to confirm by itself whether a vacant parking area truly exists or not.

Ultra-deep Large Binocular Camera U-band Imaging of the GOODS-North Field: Depth vs. Resolution [PDF]
We present a study of the trade-off between depth and resolution using a large number of U-band imaging observations in the GOODS-North field (Giavalisco et al. 2004) from the Large Binocular Camera (LBC) on the Large Binocular Telescope (LBT).
